Jaye Stentz is a Leadership Development Specialist who partners with existing and emerging leaders to grow their personal and professional leadership potential, human-to-human. After spending nearly a decade managing and leading others in practice, and five years studying and teaching management and leadership in higher education, Jaye knows what can truly happen when strong bridges are built between leadership theory and practice. Leaders must be built to last—to maintain their integrity under pressure, uncertainty and change—like bridges must be designed to maintain their integrity under wind, water and earthquake. It’s about understanding leadership as a proactive process involving leaders, followers, situations, and results. It’s about building trust through positive relationships and achieving desired outcomes through effective influence. It’s about leaders developing their full human potential—and Jaye is passionate about developing leaders, one human at a time.
Jaye completed the Effective Supervisory Management program with Leadership Resources in 2008 and earned a Leadership Behavior award from Leadership Resources in 2009. He is a 2011 graduate of the Nebraska-Kansas Schools of Banking Advanced School of Banking program and 2012 graduate of the Mortgage Bankers Association Future Leaders program.
Jaye holds a MA in management from Doane University and is presently a doctoral candidate in leadership studies at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.
Jaye grew up in Lincoln and now lives in Omaha with his wife, Janie. Jaye enjoys spending quality time with Janie, reading non-fiction, playing golf, and interacting with his dogs.
