With nearly 20 years of experience in operations management, Darby’s passion is driven from the ability of every organization to strengthen organizational growth and operate at peak performance. Core to this is the fundamental belief that strong teams make great companies. Darby is passionate about technology and believes that it can be a highly effective tool assist every organization in accomplishing its business objectives.
Darby’s role within Leadership Resources is, quite frankly, to get things done. Often working behind the scenes to manage vendor relationships, assist in contracts and budgeting, and deal with the activities required of every business. Darby works every day to ensure the day-to-day operations of the company are handled so other members of the team can focus on providing a world-class experience for our customers. Additionally, Darby leads our development and technology business units.
Darby has a Master of Business Administration degree from University of Phoenix and a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Nebraska Wesleyan University. His nearly 20 years of experience include operations management, customer service, technology, process improvement, budget management, planning, brand building, non-profit management, and corporate strategy. Previous to Leadership Resources, Darby served as Executive Director of Alpaca Owners Association, Inc. for over 11 years and managed for both FedEx Office and AMC Theatres, prior to that.
Darby and his wife of 15+ years have one daughter and are active in Sheridan Lutheran Church where they volunteer their time in a variety of capacities. Additionally, while not a pilot himself, Darby also volunteers his time as a member of Civil Air Patrol.
